Casa Nossa is a unique estate in the Alentejo, on the banks of the Alqueva. Very comfortable and with breathtaking views, the house has ten rooms and is always rented with full board and all meals included.
With 65 hectares (160 acres) of natural landscape, this paradise was discovered and restored by award-winning Portuguese chef José Avillez and his wife, Sofia Ulrich, a compulsive reader and amateur photographer.
Casa Nossa offers total privacy and can accommodate up to 20 people, with all the amenities.
This unique estate overlooking the Alqueva is surrounded by centuries-old holm oaks, native plants, fruit trees, fragrant herbs and a garden where the best vegetables of each season flourish.
It was at first sight that José Avillez and Sofia Ulrich fell in love with this unique and magical place.
Together they designed and built an Alentejo-inspired house harmonizing tradition and modernity.
Far from any neighbours, this property includes an ample house with plenty of resting and living areas, such as a private mooring and two swimming pools.
The atmosphere is discreetly sophisticated. The interior design was carefully thought out by Studio Astolfi.
Inside and out, there are several tastefully decorated spaces for relaxing and socialising.

Casa Nossa has ten very comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, a balcony, a terrace or a porch.
Each room is carefully prepared. The king-size beds are made with Egyptian cotton sheets and the best pillows for a perfect night’s rest.
