Linkwasha Camp

Linkwasha, a Wilderness Safaris Camp in Zimbabwe

Situated between the mighty Zambezi and the more sedate Limpopo rivers, Zimbabwe is a country of variety. Majestic mountains, abundant forests and rushing rivers offer travellers a range of adventures. Hwange National Park is the country’s largest game reserve and it’s here you will find Linkwasha, a luxurious camp in Hwange. Situated close to the Ngamo Plains where you can enjoy fabulous game viewing during the summer which complements the winter viewing from the camp itself. There are over a hundred mammal species in the area and from Linkwasha you can enjoy the easy access to the best wildlife locations. Linkwasha offers more than the larger mammals for your viewing and believes the smaller and more diverse birds, mammals and reptiles can provide you with even more enjoyment and entertainment. The birds of the Hwange Range are many and varied, all year round with marked increases in the summer months when numbers are swelled by migratory species.

The ethos of the Linkwasha Camp is all about providing a luxurious, full-service safari experience. Accommodation is by way of eight en-suite luxury tents and one family tent looking towards the waterhole where you can watch the wildlife to your heart’s content. The main area consists of a pool area, multi-level decks, and a library housed in the winter lounge and also overlooks the waterhole.

A brochure is provided on arrival with tips for your wildlife viewing. It has also got a checklist where you can keep a record of all the animals you encounter on your trip. Viewing of the lions, herds of elephant, buffalo, leopard, giraffe, and many others are available year-round thanks to the diverse landscapes.
