The Singular Santiago, a singular way of travelling
Located in the happening Lastarria neighbourhood, in the heart of downtown Santiago, The Singular Santiago is a deluxe hotel that combines the style of early 20th century buildings with neoclassical French architectural influences and is designed to fit seamlessly into the artistic, bohemian area. Enrique Concha – one of Chile’s top interior designers & architects – has managed to seamlessly blend cutting edge modernity with the charm of a bygone era, by creating interiors that feel timeless and ultimately stylish. Sister hotel to the well-established and unique Singular Patagonia, The Singular Santiago shares the strong Singular ethos meaning that it was not only important for the hotel to reflect the past, but also to help protect the future. With sustainability high on the agenda throughout the design and construction, water consumption was reduced by 30%, while the efficient ‘wraparound’ design retains the internal temperature and low-energy LED bulbs and ‘master switch’ technology reduce electricity use.
The hotel features 62 stylish modern rooms over 9 floors, all boasting an air of classic comfort with tasteful touches of rich wood, supple leather, different colour schemes and soft lighting to create a warm and welcoming environment. The 7 Patio rooms and 14 Classic rooms offer great views over the Plaza Mulato Gil and the Lastarria neighbourhood. The 40 expansive Singular Rooms have a northern orientation – offering beautiful views of the Parque Forestal – and are between 36 and 40 square metres in size, each with a separate shower and bath. Most rooms feature balconies allowing visitors to take in the views and atmosphere from the comfort of their own rooms.
