Follow the light to the Arctic Light Hotel in Finland
The Arctic Light Hotel in Finland has been applauded for its magical atmosphere, luxury services, and contemporary flair. The hotel offers Finnish Lapland heritage that is unmistakable with a fusion of modern amenities that are ideal for the world traveller. Located in the center of Lapland Rovaniemi, the hotel represents style and glamour, as well as elegance and history. The region of Rovaniemi was one of many which were devastated by the events of the Second World War. Since that time, reconstruction has been an ongoing effort, and many buildings have been repurposed for better use. The City Hall building in the town square was purchased and transformed, thanks to entrepreneur Mikael Grohn, and has now become a world-class hotel destination.
Conservancy and a devout respect for nature is inherent in the hotel, from its location and amenities to its constant use of the polar bear figure. The hotel is proud to serve as a World Wildlife Federation partner and promotes the issues of climate change and polar bear conservation.
Guests may choose to stay in one of the 47 bespoke guest rooms, four themed guest suites, or six Aurora lofts. Each space is graciously appointed, generous in size, and decorated with details in mind. Wildlife and the nature of the land are presented throughout each area, as is the desire to indulge one’s self in pure luxury. Families will find the Christmas Cabin, a private residence near the hotel’s main building, the perfect place to savor a retreat. Themed after the Christmas holiday, without being cliché, this cabin offers privacy and serenity without having to venture too far from the village square.
