Chitwa Chitwa, African flair with the elegance of minimalism
Panoramic bush views and captivating game sightings are the essence of the Chitwa Chitwa Lodge experience. Situated at the northern end of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a place rich in biodiversity, the lodge overlooks a lake that is a year-round watering hole, and thus promises a constant parade of wildlife, even before venturing out on a game drive. Private and common areas all boast the same understated elegance paired with African chic and are enhanced by artwork from owner Maria Bink’s acclaimed collection.
The lodge’s main living room and dining areas spill out onto extensive wooden decks, as do each of the six vast suites, to maximize potential sightings of the Big Five. For those seeking absolute seclusion, however, Chitwa House is a sumptuous two-bedroom villa that puts a butler, private chef, guide and tracker at guests’ exclusive disposal.
Game drives begin and end each day, with time in between spent sunbathing beside the rim-flow pool, finding zen-like calm at the spa, or simply watching the sunset from the lounging deck.
