Thanks to its position on the edge of an escarpment, the sweeping, unobstructed views across the immense Laikipia landscape are a central feature of the Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp. Throughout both the huge, airy, custom-built tents, with their wraparound floor-to-ceiling windows and polished wood floors, and across the main alfresco dining area, lounge and spectacular infinity-edge pool, the predominant style is African chic with a dash of European sophistication. Situated within a 227 sq km private wildlife conservancy that encompasses plains and valleys, springs, and the mighty Ewaso Nyiro River, this is an important elephant haven and one of the best places to see wild dog.
