Experience an oasis of peace and beauty within fairytale woodland at Hotel Endsleigh
Commissioned by the Duke of Bedford in 1811, Hotel Endsleigh is a stunning Grade I listed house within 108 acres of fairytale woodland and botanical gardens that were designed by Humphrey Repton some 200 years ago. With only 16 rooms and suites carefully restored in the spirit of the Regency period, the hotel is an elegant oasis of peace and beauty, as well as a perfect location for exclusive events or celebrations.
Endsleigh is situated on the edge of the Dartmoor, one of the greatest unspoilt natural areas left in England, perfect for walking and riding. With the River Tamar gently winding through its landscape, lovers of country pursuits can fish along 8 miles of one of the best salmon and sea trout rivers in England, or join an exclusive shoot in the historic drives adjoining the estate. The hotel is close to several beautiful National Trust and English Heritage properties and gardens. Tavistock, a lovely market town, is only 15 minutes away.
If guests just want to unwind, they can choose a book from the impressive hotel library and relax in front of the many open fires, with one of the best cream teas in Devon.
