La Ferme Saint Siméon was once a refuge for impressionist painters
La Ferme Saint Siméon is a beautiful 17th Century Norman house located on the heights of Honfleur, boasting a panoramic Seine estuary view, whose lights fascinated the masters of impressionism. Today, the refurbished farm offers a gastronomic restaurant, a bar, and lounge featuring numerous impressionist and contemporary paintings bringing back an atmosphere of a bygone era. The 35 rooms and suites have been carefully decorated with ancient panelling, oaked flooring, and noble materials culminating in a refined finish. Enjoy the spa and its original concept where treatments are carried out with a combination of local Bioproducts, including milk, apples, cereals, and precious stones.
The historical centre of Honfleur is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel’s peaceful gardens where Monet, Corot, Sisley, and many others used to paint. The hotel is an ideal starting point to discover Normandy, take a tour to the World War II D-Day beaches, the Cider and local cheeses routes, as well as Deauville, the famous cliffs of Etretat and the Mont Saint-Michel.
