Le Carrube Masseria
Le Carrube - Masseria in Ostuni
Le Carrube – Masseria in Ostuni is the rustic authenticity of Puglia totally immersed in
nature. In the wildest Murgia of Ostuni, halfway between the sea and the hills, the
farmhouse, with a typical tile roof, has been restored in an essential and elegant way,
ready to welcome travellers in search of peace and silence in its 19 suites. Nineteen rooms
with a simple style and rustic interiors, the traditional ones of Puglian masserie. The most
distinctive feature lies in the uniqueness of the rooms, all different from each other as they
have been created respecting the original spaces, with the strong limestone walls and
light-colored vaults typical of these places. White and pastel colors, together with the
silence and tranquility, welcome guests in this place preserved by time, surrounded by the
beauty of nature, the expanse of olive trees lulled by the wind, endless hectares of red
earth against the sky.
A zero-waste restaurant where everything you eat is 100% self-produced also inhabits Le Carrube. This vegetarian food experience is rooted in the love for Puglia and the vocation of its gastronomic tradition. The vegetable cuisine gives shape to a menu that reinterprets the raw materials of the territory with a modern twist, selected according to quality and seasonality, coming from local productions or vegetables grown in the gardens owned by Le Carrube (as well as an olive grove and 250 fruit trees). Taking advantage of the region’s bountiful offerings, the menu has dishes that incorporate local grains and fresh fruits and vegetables.
