SherBagh Ranthambhore was among India’s first luxury tented camps
Luxury and authentic safari life await at Sujan’s SherBagh Ranthambhore. Twelve private tent sites provide an unforgettable experience. Bordering the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve, this 1920’s style camp is equipped with comfort and fittings true to a lost age of imperial safari life. Ten luxury tents enclose the lawn area. Each hand-stitched canvas tent is air-conditioned. A veranda with Edwardian dark wood and leather campaign furniture fronts each tent. Through a bamboo door lies the spacious bedroom, a large bed piled high with plump cushions is accompanied by a campaign desk and other period pieces. The en-suite stone bathroom is complete with brass fittings and a hot water shower. Attendants are standing by to answer the butler bell at your bedside.
Hand-built stone walls surround the Luxury Pukka Sahib Suite, enclosing a private garden, Jacuzzi, and open-air shower. A private butler will serve you on your fully netted veranda, enabling a pest-free evening lounge.
A private butler is also provided to see to your every need if you stay at the finest lodgings of SherBagh Ranthambhore, the Royal Burra Sahib Suite. Grassed walls provide complete privacy while you relax under the neem trees or take a dip in the private heated swimming pool.
